Two or more slices of bread with a layer of meat, fish, cheese, etc., between them:

The broad definition of what it means to be a "Sandwich" has caused much controversy over the years. There have been many debates on what constitutes a proper sandwich and what dishes deserve to hold the title of "Sandwich". This great debate has caused many sandwich eaters and lovers around the world to form their own opinions and theories on what defines a sandwich. Thus enters the "Sandwich" Charts.
